    • Empowerment target for 2024-25: 1,875; achieved: 3,124.
  • Maharashtra:

    • New DCS formation target for 2024-25: 913; achieved: 985.
    • Empowerment target for 2024-25: 419; achieved: 244.

Goals:

  • Enhance market access and ensure profitable prices for small dairy farmers.
  • Increase women's participation among small dairy farmers through cooperative formation in unaddressed areas.
  • Provide financial assistance for dairy infrastructure, including bulk milk coolers and automated milk collection units.

Expected Outcomes:

  • Improved market access for small dairy farmers while ensuring fair prices.
  • Increased farmer income through sustainable practices and a circular dairy ecosystem.
  • Enhanced economic empowerment and social recognition of women in the dairy ecosystem.
